ImPRint Communications at LSU has been partneing with Hands Producing Hope since 2015. ImPRint understands the importance of giving back to the community. With Hands Producing Hope, firm members have volunteered for events to assist in the setting up, selling of merchandise, collecting donations, and promoting the events on social media.
Hands Producing Hope is a social enterprise with a passion for making a positive difference in the world. Its mission is to provide the resources necessary to help remote communities rise above poverty. Its mission statement states “Our vision is to see all people (regardless of gender, ethnicity, or geographical location) be afforded opportunities to have dignified and respectable work, and to provide for their families and flourish in their communities. We want to see a universal growth in an understanding of the impact an individual can make with their time, resources, and talents.”

Through these promotional events Hands Producing Hope has been successful in raising funds in order to establish programs for women in Rwanda and Costa Rica that create a market for their handcrafted goods in retail stores, as well as offering education, employment and life skills workshops that will equip them with the tools necessary to rise above poverty.
